Minimum age to obtain it: 21 years old and hold a valid B licence.

Permits: driving vehicles designed and constructed for the carriage of up to 16 passengers excluding the driver, with a length not exceeding eight metres. These vehicles may, in addition, carry a trailer whose MAM does not exceed 750 kilograms.

Tests to be passed (3): Specific theoretical test (you are exempt if you hold a C1 licence and are over 21 years old); practical test on a closed circuit consisting of three tests - ramp start, reversing on a curve and parking in line - and practical test on public roads.

If you are going to use the D1 licence for professional purposes, you will also need to obtain the Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP). If you want to get it you can study with us in person and online.
